Ahhhh, the promise of getting those essentials sorted for your new branding. Those pretty graphics that will make you look professional right? A proper business boss!

WARNING!

I wouldn’t trust anyone offering this for so little, but so many people would even think that’s a rip off!!

You can buy a website template.

You can buy a pre-made logo design.

Maybe this costs something like the above, or even less.

Brilliant! What a bargain!! (haha! People pay thousands for what you’ve got for £500 – suckers!!!)

Then you wait for those clients.

And wait.

And wait even longer.

No one is buying.

No one can find your website and your position on Google is shit!

Your branding screams DIY in Canva or worse, a comic sans logo made in Word

Your website is full of long sections of text that no one will read and images you’ve had your friend or partner take on their phone.

Let’s be honest – everything about it is saying ‘I’m affordable’.

The thing with this is yes you make a massive saving at the start BUT you’re only going to attract clients who ask for discounts. The ones who are more often than not, a pain in the arse to work with!!

That person that paid a few thousand for their new website and branding…

Well, she’s flying!!

Her Instagram is amazing.

She seems to be getting clients, and not just any clients but amazing ones that are leaving such incredible reviews!

She’s even been nominated for an award for Best Newcomer in her industry!

Wtaf? We started at the same time but I’m just not getting anywhere.

Ugh, was that initial saving worth it?

THIS is where SO many new businesses fail and give up.

They think it’s as simple as having a logo and website and those clients will come flying in!

This is not how you run a business. Not a successful one anyway!!
