6 ways to start making passive income in 2024

It’s 2024 and all there is online right now are faceless accounts and a gazillion people being sucked into the quick wins and overnight success stories to make some extra cash – great for the tiny % that have this kind of success (and it CAN happen, I personally know some people who had massive success within a single week) BUT this is not the reality for the majority that buy into these schemes and offers!

Now, one thing I would say is that making additional income, whether it’s around a full or part time job, an existing business or maybe you are a full time stay at home parent and would love to have some financial freedom and independence.

Whatever your background or experience of running a business – literally ANYONE can start making an income online. But for the majority, they will read a post like this and never even get started.

So, because I want you to come away from reading this blog post knowing that there ARE simple, not easy, but simple ways you can make some extra cash in 2024 and have that financial freedom you desire…

Here is a list of some ways you could start earning with offers that won’t take up a tonne of your time and can easily fit around your existing lifestyle.

1. Invest in property – the property market is BOOMING with new opportunities to make some serious money. And the best part? You don’t even have to have the funds to buy a property to get started. Look at AirBnB – the biggest holiday/rentals brand in the world and they don’t own a single property. Now that’s GOLD! 2. Create an online course – this is SO simple to do. Develop and sell an online course on platforms like Udemy or Teachable. Once created, the course can generate income with minimal ongoing effort. You could teach ANYTHING – you would not believe the things people will pay to learn online!
3. Write and publish a book – Write and publish a book on platforms like Amazon. You can earn royalties each time your book is sold. This costs NOTHING to start and can make a great bit of extra income, especially if you launch something that goes viral on social media or gets an influx of sales on Amazon! Amazon will do the publishing and printing for you so all you need to do is have your idea, create the design, upload it and boom! Job done.
4. Create a YouTube channel – Produce videos on topics you are passionate about and monetise your channel through ads, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing.
5. Drop shipping – Set up an e-commerce store using dropshipping. With this model, you sell products, but the fulfillment and shipping are handled by a third party such as Printify.
6. Affiliate or Digital marketing – Build a niche website, blog and/or social media accounts and incorporate affiliate marketing. Promote products or services, and earn a commission for every sale made through your unique affiliate link. Most big companies have an affiliate scheme, including Amazon. The key to success is to share links of high selling items and/or high ticket items.
