So, we all know that we need clients/customers in order to have a business.
But if you have messaging, offers and pricing that aren’t aligned and you’re being inconsistent with what you’re showing your audience it’s easy to attract the wrong kind of clients (or worse, no clients at all!)
So how do you actually attract those dream clients?
Lucky for you, I’m giving you the low down on exactly how to do this! Make sure you bookmark this to read and refer to later.
It all starts with the WHO.
Who is your dream client? How well do you know who they are? The more specific you can be, the easier it is to create the offers and messaging that speaks to that person.
Without knowing who your dream client is you’re making things a million times harder for yourself to build a thriving business.
So before you start on anything else – think about who that person is. Are they male or female? How old might they be? (I don’t mean 20-60yrs – a 20 year old has a very different lifestyle, background and needs to a 60 year old! Narrow it down).
Where might they live? What kind of things do they do for fun? What kind of person are they? Where do they work?
Once you know this – what is their problem/want that you are the perfect fit for? How can you help them?
Next you need to know their pain points. What are they searching for? What keywords would they be putting into Google or reading about on social media captions or blog posts they come across on Pinterest?
Now the trick is to not remind them of their pain points but to show the solution and how you can help.
This is all done through your messaging.
Think about who your dream client is and what they need right now.
All of your messaging (your brand visuals, website copy, hooks and captions on social media posts) has to speak to your dream clients. You are showing them what they want to see/hear that is the perfect solution to their problem.
Your visuals are SO key in order to grab their attention. Whether that’s on social media, Pinterest or your website. Your brand colours, typography, graphics, imagery…it’s all essential to have right if you want to get those dream clients hooked from that very first impression.
If your brand visuals consist of a logo made in Canva and inconsistent colours, fonts and graphics…I strongly advise you to have a think about investing in having a full brand identity design for your business! This is something I can help with here. (shameless plug! ;-p )
So once you know who that dream client is and you know how to get your messaging right with your copy and visuals…what’s next?
Now it’s time to review your offers.
What are you offering right now that will be an absolute hell yes for your dream clients?
Think about the journey your dream clients are going on. Where are they now, where were they and where do they want to go?
You can create offers that help your dream clients at every stage of their journey, or focus on one stage. But it’s always good to know their journey so you can speak to them through your messaging.
Having the right offers is absolutely essential if you’re going to have success in your business.
It needs to be something your dream clients want/need that will help them get the results they’re looking for. Then you can create the messaging that perfectly reflects the solution to their problem with those all important visuals and copy/hooks!
Here’s an example…
So my dream client is a female entrepreneur who has been in business for a few years and have outgrown their current branding/logo design. Their pain point is that they want to increase their prices and attract those next level clients but their current branding, imagery and messaging just isn’t giving them that professional vibe. They lack the confidence to increase their prices and worry that clients won’t book them because they don’t look the part with their outdated branding.
They have invested in memberships, courses and perhaps even coaching to help them get started with their business but they’re now ready to step up and build a professional, iconic brand that sets them apart from their competitors and will make them a magnet for those next level, higher paying clients.
Now, my offers are helping these business bosses to build a scroll stopping professional brand that converts. But I don’t just work on the visuals – I also support them with taking that next step and creating a magnetic brand with the right strategy in place. Because building a brand isn’t just about the visuals!
I speak to my dream clients with all of my messaging. Even when I’m sharing my personal life – I share things that I know my dream clients will relate to and find value in. This might even be a post about juggling motherhood because it’s all relatable and builds a conversational piece that my dream clients will engage in.
This is just the start of building your next level brand and attracting those dream clients but if you always work on these steps when you launch a new offer it will help you to become a magnet for the right kind of clients!
